Intense CPU cycles

I agree with one of the reviewers posted for a previous version. The app uses between 70-75% CPU and 4-10 threads. Thats a LOT! I could live without the animation. Please add an option to disable it. I dont need to run up my CPU cycles just to see a few raindrops. The app also adds a menu bar widget, which is nice. Its a decent app. Unfortunately I removed it from my system until they will fix the intense CPU usage.
